Call IMMEDIATELY for assistance, including at night and on weekends.
- Post-operative bleeding: place a gauze pad over the wound and bite down firmly for 1 hour. DO NOT remove the gauze and DO NOT drink anything. If the bleeding has not stopped after 1 hour: have details of your blood thinners ready and call.
- Severe toothache accompanied by fever and swelling of the cheek near a tooth.
- Accident involving permanent teeth.
- Children over 7 years old: toothache with fever lasting longer than 12 hours.
Call during opening hours for prompt assistance:
- Broken piece of a tooth, molar, filling, or crown.
- Emerging or persistent pain and discomfort in the mouth, regardless of the cause (tooth, cheek, tongue, denture, implant, etc.).
- Severe toothache without fever or swelling.
- Accident involving baby teeth.
- Children under 7 years old with a fever.
